Una was a character from a famous British poem, “The Fairie Queene”. In a scene from the poem, a young Una is shown pointing the way forward to a lion.
The 2021 Una & the Lion is struck in 1 troy oz of .999 fine silver. Unlike the prior year, the 2021 has a polished backfield giving it a lustrous finish..
The coins obverse is graced with the fifth effigy of Queen Elizabeth II. The reverse features a beautiful depiction of Una alongside her guardian lion.
