Canadian 1 oz Silver Maple Leaf
The silver maple leaf has been Canada’s signature coins since it debuted in 1988. The iconic maple leaf is one of the most popular and recognized coin.
The 2023 Canadian maple leaf is struck in 1 troy ounce of .9999 fine silver. The obverse is graced with Susan Blunts effigy of Queen Elizabeth II. The sugar Maple Leaf design is featured on the reverse along with the latest security measures from the Royal Canadian mint.
The coin features precision radial lines that diffract light giving each coin it’s own unique pattern. A laser engraved privy mark was added with the year of issue and can only be seen under magnification.
The proprietary DNA technology scans images encrypted with a string of code and registers them in the mints secured database. With the use of a special device, each coin can be traced back to the exact day we struck including the die that was used.
