On May 6th 2023, King Charles III ascended to the Royal British throne. In honor of the historic event, the British Royal Mint issued a remarkable 1 oz silver bar. The Royal Celebration silver bar was designed by Thomas T. Docherty highlighting the heraldic symbols of the United Kingdom.
The obverse features England’s coat of arms above the Royal Cypher of His Majesty, King Charles III. The metal content, weight and purity is also found on the obverse.
The reverse side of the bar is split into four quadrants, each featuring one of the 4 heraldic beasts. They include: The Lion of England and a Tudor rose, the Unicorn of Scotland with a thistle, the Elk of Ireland with a shamrock, and the Red Dragon of Wales with a leek. The center features St Edward’s crown which is the centerpiece for British regalia.
The Royal celebration brilliant uncirculated 1 oz silver is absolutely remarkable. Mintage was set at just 70,000. Direct from the mint, each Royal Celebration silver bar arrives factory sealed .
