Pressburg mint has led the way using the most innovative laser engraving technology. It’s allowed them to achieve a higher level of quality, with the razor sharp details resulting in some of the most captivating coin designs.
The popular Chronos series focuses on the passage of time, inspired by famous Greek philosopher Heraclitus. It debuted in 2015 as a series of 1 oz silver rounds. It became legal tender in 2019 as it was issued by the island of Tokelau. In 2023 the Chronos series continues as legal tender for the island nation of Niue.
Each year, the Chronos series features a new design of an ancient clock with the time set to 5 minutes before 12:00 o’clock. The obverse features the infinity symbol centered inside a decorative rim with weight, purity, and logo inscribed below.
Each series by the Pressburg mint is struck in both brilliant uncirculated, and in a proof-like finish. The featured coin is the latter. Each coin arrives in remarkable condition, and housed in a new capsule to help protect that beautiful luster.
