With a 12-year cycle, each year is represented by a different animal. In many cultures, its  believed that those born in a particular year share some of the characteristics of the animal. Its said those born in the year of the dragon will enjoy a life of luck and fortune.

 

The obverse features the fourth Effigy of Queen Elizabeth II. The reverse features a dragon intricately detailed surrounding the fiery pearl of wisdom at its center. This coin is from our private collection and in remarkable condition, just as the day it was struck. The coin arrives in it’s original capsule and display box along with the certificate of authenticity.
