The 2022 super incuse Canadian Maple Leaf introduces a new motif in the backround that gives it a pulsating effect. An array of small maples burst out from the center on both the sides of the coin.
The coin is masterfully struck at a 1.5 mm incuse depth, at a remarkable 40% below the surface. A layer of 24 karat rose gold covers the images on both sides giving it a shimmering luster.
The 2022 Canadian Maple Leaf is proof struck in one troy ounce of .9999 pure silver. The obverse is graced with Susan Blunts portrait of Queen Elizabeth II. The reverse features the famous floating sugar maple leaf.
Direct from the mint, each coin arrives in the Royal Canadian Mint signature black display box along with a numbered certificate of authenticity. With a mintage of only 8000 coins, these sold out at the mint in it’s first week of release.
