The Walking Liberty is considered one of the most beautiful coin designs in history. Designed by Adolph E. Wienman, The obverse features a left-profile portrait of Lady Liberty, draped in the American flag as she walks toward the sun.
The reverse features an effigy of Queen Elizabeth II. The Queen’s portrait was designed and used exclusively by the Pobjoy mint. The coin was completed with a reverse frost finish on both sides.
The 75th Anniversary coin is struck in one troy ounce of .9999 fine silver by the Pobjoy mint. A limited mintage of only 7,500 coins were struck selling out in it’s first month of release. Direct from the mint, each coin is absolutely remarkable and arrives in a new airtight capsule.
