This beautiful 1 oz silver coin is the 4th issue of the popular Golden Flower Collection coin series. The tropical strelitzia, also called “bird of paradise,” is native to South Africa and is one of the most popular houseplants today.

The 2023 Strelitzia is struck in 1 troy oz of .999 fine silver with a proof finish. The series is produced by the Mint of Germany-SMB and has a limited mintage of only 1,500 coins.

The obverse is graced with an effigy of Queen Elizabeth II. The reverse features a wonderful 3D Strelitzia with frosted leaves and selective gold gilding.  Direct from the mint, each coin arrives encapsulated and housed in an elegant display case, along with a numbered certificate of authenticity.
