The famous tale of St George and the Dragon has been portrayed countless times over the years in various forms of art. Famed artist Benedetto Pistrucci’s iconic design has graced the gold sovereign since it first appeared over two centuries ago.

 


The new 2024 St George and the Dragon coin is struck in 1 troy oz of .9999 pure silver. It’s the first release of an exciting new series from the Royal Mint.

 
 

The reverse side features a stunning rendition of the iconic image by famed artist Jody Clark. The obverse bares the first official portrait of His Majesty, King Charles III.
