The 2024 super incuse Canadian Maple Leaf introduces a new motif in the backround that gives it a pulsating effect. An array of small maples burst out from the center on both the sides of the coin. This one-of-a-kind Canadian maple leaf combines elements from an earlier design.
Introduced in 2021 by the Royal Canadian Mint, the coin is masterfully struck at a depth of 1.5 mm incuse . At a depth 40% below the surface, it just about reaches the center of the coin. Both images are coated in a thin layer of 24 karat gold giving it a beautiful luster.
The 2024 Canadian Maple Leaf super incuse is struck in one troy ounce of .9999 pure silver in rev-proof. The obverse is graced with Susan Blunts portrait of Queen Elizabeth II. The reverse features the famous floating sugar maple leaf.
Each coin is direct from the mint and arrives in the RCM’s signature black display box along with a numbered certificate of authenticity. This collectors piece has a mintage of only 8000 coins and likely won’t be around for long.
