The 2024 UK St. George & The Dragon coin is based on the centuries-old famous tale. The iconic image has been portrayed countless times over the years in various forms of art.

Famed artist Benedetto Pistrucci’s beautiful rendition of St. George and the Dragon has graced the British gold sovereign for over two centuries.

The 2024 St. George and the Dragon 1/4 oz gold coin is the first issue of the latest series from the Royal Mint. The new series is available in both gold and silver in a variety of sizes.

The obverse side of the coin is graced with the first official portrait of King Charles III. The reverse side features a stunning rendition of the famous image designed by famed artist Jody Clark.

The featured 2024 St. George and the Dragon coin is struck in 1/4 oz of .9999 pure gold finished to the Royal Mint’s bullion standard. Direct from the mint, each coin is absolutely remarkable and arrives in the mint-issued direct-fit screw capsule.
