The “Twin” Maple Leaf was introduced in 2017 in both a 2 oz and a 10 oz version. The new design features a large sugar maple leaf with a smaller leaf attached to the same stem. The beautiful design gives the appearance the leaf is falling from a tree. The obverse features Susan Blunts Effigy of Queen Elizabeth II.
Struck in 10 oz of .9999 fine silver, the Magnificent Maple Leaf has the Royal Canadian Mints most advanced security features. Radial lines on both sides of the coin along with a laser micro-engraved Maple Leaf privy mark were added.
Each 10 oz silver Maple Leaf arrives in its original capsule and guaranteed to be in remarkable condition. For added protection, the coin is housed in a new, Guardhouse display box in a cedar finish. Aside from keeping the coin secured, it adds a touch of elegance to any coin collection.
