Faberge Easter eggs were created by goldsmith and jeweler Peter Carl Fabergé for the Russian Royal family in the late 19th century. The spring flowers Faberge egg was one of the first of 5 eggs created.
The Spring Flowers was actually an egg inside of another egg. The smaller egg would open vertically exposing a tiny bouquet of flowers hidden inside.
The stunning eggs were crafted in precious metals and gemstones with various surprises in the egg. Each opens concealing a hidden gift including gems, watches, portraits and even a tiny train.
The featured 2021 Niue Fabergé egg coin is struck in 16.81 grams of .999 fine silver in a proof finish. Direct from the mint, each coin arrives in an elegant unopened display case along with a numbered certificate of authenticity.
