In ancient Chinese mythology, dragons were coveted creatures that symbolized power and good fortune. The dragon represents the fifth year of the Chinese lunar calendar

 

Issued by Pitcairn Islands, the 2024  Lunar Dragon is produced London’s premier Tower mint. Mintage was set at only 10,000 coins.

 

The coin is struck in 1 troy oz of .999 pure silver with a proof-like finish. The obverse features the first portrait of King Charles III. The reverse depicts an intricately detailed dragon in a coiled posture.

 

Direct from the mint, each coin arrives in remarkable condition and housed in a new Direct Fit capsule.
