The Snowflake Brooch was presented to Queen Elizabeth II in 2017 to mark the 150th anniversary of Canadian confederation and the 65th anniversary of her reign. The brooch was inspired by a snowflake and represents the Canadian Arctic.
The 2024 Canadian Sapphire Jubilee Snowflake Brooch is proof struck in 1 troy oz of .9999 pure silver with a matte finish. The coins obverse features an effigy of King Charles III. The reverse is shaped like a snowflake with a thin layer of rhodium. It’s embedded with blue glass stones to help re-create the look of the Royal diamond‑and‑sapphire brooch.
Directs from the mint, the coin arrives encapsulated and housed in the Royal Canadian Mint signature display box. Also included is a numbered certificate of authenticity.
