GEIGER EDELMETALLE

The Grand Schloss Güldengossa Castle in Saxony, Germany

Geiger Edelmetalle Was founded in the early 13th century, when its founders helped establish Germany’s silver trade in Leipzig. Today, the family-owned and operated company is located in nearby Saxony, at the grand Schloss Güldengossa Castle. Their production facilities sit besides the castle in a nearly abandoned 1930s factory.

Geiger Edelmetalle is among the most respected names in precious metals. Known for their high quality and strict standards, they produce the finest products made of gold, silver, platinum, and palladium. They have locations in Germany, Switzerland, and New York, with distributors in over 30 countries.

The company continued to grow with the successful merger of its sister company, Leipziger Edelmetallverarbeitung GMbH. The merger exemplified their role as longstanding institutions representing excellence in the precious metals industry.

Geiger Edelmetalle provides an array of precious metals to customers in more than 30 countries and 4 continents. They’re the only private mint in Germany that produces a gold & silver coin for a sovereign state – the popular Noah’s Ark coin, issued by the Armenian Central Bank.

The mint’s current locations represent the two facets of Geiger Edelmetalle: state-of-the-art technology and tradition. Each product holds a special place in the history of Geiger as the mint looks forward to technological advances while maintaining the highest minting standards.

Geiger Edelmetalle has made significant contributions to the precious metals industry by introducing new and innovative security features. Unlike most bars that have smooth edges, their bars feature a unique reeded edge with security lines similar to those found on coins. This enhances the security and authenticity of their bars.

Their flagship square bars feature the majestic Schloss Güldengossa castle on the obverse. A repeating pattern of the “LEV” logo with a varnish invisible to the naked eye is added on the reverse. Under UV light, their unique LEV-rhombus logo and serial number luminate in blue. Click to view our line of Geiger Edelmetalle bars.
