The 2023 Netherlands 1 oz Silver Florin Proof is now available at ABS Bullion. The Dutch Florin is among the oldest and most popular silver trade coins in the world. First issued in 1616, the Florin was in circulation for almost 70 years.
The 1 ounce silver Dutch Florins which eventually became known also as Dutch guilders, were favored by Europeans due to their beauty and large size.
This original restrike features the crowned coat of arms of Kampen on the obverse, with the reverse featuring the iconic two-headed eagle. With only 300 of the proof re-strikes minted, it’s certain these will not be around much longer.
Straight from the mint, the coin arrives encapsulated and placed in Deluxe Packaging, with a beautifully designed bullet ship. Also included is a certificate of authenticity.
