The obverse side of the coin is graced with Susan Blunts Effigy of the late Queen Elizabeth II. It also features the double dates of the Queens reign (1952-2022). The reverse has a rendition of the Canadian Coat of Arms designed by heraldic artist Cathy Bursey-Sabourin.
The 2024 Canadian Coat of Arms has a textured specimen finish. A tailored specimen finish has a satin-like relief and a textured field created using angled lines that converge at the top like a pyramid. It was inspired by the unique pyramid shape of the Winnipeg branch designed by famed architect Etienne Gaboury.
