In ancient Chinese myths, dragons were considered a symbol of power, strength, and good luck. It said that those born in the year of the dragon will enjoy a life of good fortune.

The obverse on the 2024 lunar dragon is graced with the 5th Effigy of the late Queen Elizabeth II. The reverse features a contorted dragon, spewing water from its mouth, gazing at the fiery pearl of wisdom. A “P125” privy mark was added celebrating the mint’s 125th anniversary.

The 2024 Perth mint lunar dragon is struck in 1 troy oz of .9999 fine silver. The coin has a beautiful proof like luster adding to its appeal. Direct from the mint, each coin arrives in its original capsule.
