The 2024 Four Nations coin is a rendition of the British round pound last issued in 2016. The reverse is divided into 4 quadrants, each featuring a heraldic animal defending the Tudor crown, which sits at the center.

Each of the animals represents the four nations of the United Kingdom. They include the Lion of England, the Unicorn of Scotland, the Dragon of Wales, and the Stag of Northern Ireland.
