The dragon represents the 5th year in the Chinese zodiac calendar. In ancient Chinese mythology, dragons were mythical creatures that symbolized power, strength, and good fortune.

The 2024 lunar dragon is struck in 1/10 oz of .9999 pure gold. The reverse features a Chinese dragon immersed in a cloud of fog along with the mint mark “P125”, signifying the Perth Mint’s 125th anniversary. The obverse is graced with the fifth Effigy of Queen Elizabeth II.

The Lunar Series is one of the most popular and longest running coin series from the Perth mint favored by collectors and coin enthusiasts.  Direct from the mint, the lunar dragon is absolutely pristine and arrives in a mint issued direct fit capsule.
