The 2017 reverse proof is one of the most captivating Maple Leafs, highly favored by coin enthusiasts and collectors. The beautiful luster on the relief against the frosted background gives it that incredible black & white contrast. The true beauty lies in the masterfully designed privy by Ariana Cuvin. A mosaic of four diamond shapes connect to create an image of the maple leaf. Each shape symbolizes the provinces and territories that completed the formation of Canada.2017 was the first year the RCM implemented their Mintshield technology to help prevent spotting. Each 2017 rev-proof is taken from a recently unsealed tube, thoroughly inspected, and placed in a new direct-fit capsule. This ensures the coin you receive will be absolutely pristine without any imperfections to the naked eye. |
