The Chronos series was inspired by Greek philosopher Heraclitus famous phrase, ” the passage of time”. Each year, the coins reverse features a new design with a focal point being a clock.
The obverse bares first official portrait of King Charles III designed by Martin Jennings. In keeping with tradition, King Charles III is depicted without a crown facing opposite of his mother, Queen Elizabeth II.
The 2024 Tokelau Chronos 1 oz silver coin is struck in .9999 fine silver by the Pressburg Mint. Each coin arrives in remarkable condition housed in a new airtight capsule.
