The Lunar snake represents the 6th year in the lunar calendar and is known for it’s intuition and wisdom. It’s said that those born in the year of the snake are wise, curious, and quick thinkers.

 

 The featured 2013 Lunar snake is struck in a .5 troy oz  .9999 fine silver by the Royal Canadian Mint. The obverse is graced with the 4th effigy of Queen Elizabeth II. The reverse features a coiled snake with its body forming the Chinese character for “snake”.

 

The 2013 Lunar Snake is the 2nd Lunar design struck during the same year. Featuring a  specimen finish with a lower mintage of just 18,888 coins, its highly sought-after among collectors and coin enthusiasts.


The featured 2013 Canadian “Year of the Snake” is in remarkable condition. It arrives encapsulated and housed in the Royal Canadian Mint signature display box along with a certificate of authenticity.
