The Masterpiece collection is a popular coin series struck by the East India Company. It features renditions of some of the most iconic designs by famed artist William Wyon. The talented engraver was best known for “the young head” of Queen Victoria, the Gothic Crown, and the iconic St. George & the Dragon.

The featured 2022 Gothic Crown is struck in 2 troy oz of .999 fine silver, a proof specimen. The obverse is graced with the fifth effigy of Her Majesty, Queen Elizabeth II.

On the reverse, the Gothic Crown features the Order of the Garter arms surrounded by a cruciform shield design. Royal emblems and the flowers of the four UK nations are also on the reverse.
