The “Timeless Icon” series is extremely popular among collectors and coin enthusiasts. This unique release features two of Canada’s national symbols on one coin: the maple leaf and the beaver. Other coins in the series featured the polar bear and the caribou.
The 2017 Canadian piedfort Timeless Icon is proof struck in 1 troy ounce of .9999 pure silver. A center line separates the detailed finish on the reverse. The left side finished in satin (marking Canada’s past), with a mirror finish on the right side (marking Canada’s future).
The coin’s obverse features Susan Blunt’s effigy of Queen Elizabeth II. This portrait has graced every Canadian coin since the Queen ascended the throne.
Direct from the mint and in remarkable condition, each coin arrives encapsulated and housed in the mint’s flagship display box. It also includes a numbered certificate of authenticity.
