The Three Graces was originally the work of one of the world’s greatest engravers, William Wyon. The coin was issued to celebrate the unification of England and Ireland.

The theme of the coin was inspired by Greek mythology, with the 3 Graces representing the daughters of Zeus. The 3 goddesses would bestow their virtue upon others as gifts to humanity.

The featured 2022 Three Graces is proof struck in 28.28 grams of .925 silver.  Produced by the Pobjoy Mint, it has a limited mintage of only 2,000 coins.

The reverse features an image of the Three Graces with a shield at their feet with the Coat of Arms of the British Virgin Islands to signify the connection to the country as a British Overseas Territory.

The obverse side of the coin is graced with an effigy of Queen Elizabeth II. The effigy was designated to be used only by the Pobjoy mint.
