The Royal Canadian Mint is known throughout the world for their beautiful Maple Leaf coins. The 2023 Canadian 5 oz silver Maple Leaf is resculpted in Ultra High Relief, emitting a pulsating effect.

Susan Blunt’s effigy of Queen Elizabeth II graces the coin’s obverse side. Aside from the portrait, the dual dates 1952-2022 mark the Queen’s reign along with the coin’s purity and face value.

The reverse features the iconic maple leaf masterfully struck in ultra-high relief. The maple leaf is surrounded with a laser-engraved pattern of concentric rings made of tiny maple leaves with the number “35.”

The 2023 Canadian Maple Leaf is proof struck in 5 troy oz’s of .9999 pure silver. With a mintage of only 2,000, this coin is one of only a few designated as PF70 by the Numismatic Guarantee Company (NGC).

A grading of PF70 means the coin is a perfectly graded proof with absolutely zero imperfections. The coin shows all the features and fields exactly as the engraver and mint intended.

The coin comes encapsulated and sonically sealed inside an acrylic holder. It includes a label  personally signed by its designer, Susan Taylor. The coin is presented in an elegant black leather display case along with the original mint-issued certificate of authenticity.
